The Mt. SAC Human Resources Department is starting recruitment for open positions again, and your Chapter needs you as representatives to serve on these committees:
To serve as a CSEA 262 representative, you must be a Chapter member.
Selection Committee & EEO Training - The college is committed to ensuring diversity and equity, so your participation helps the college meet these goals. You must receive Selection Committee/EEO training within the last two years. If you have not completed the training, please register for Selection Committee/EEO training available via POD (you will need to log in to POD Connect).

The dates and times of the next Selection Committee/EEO online trainings are ongoing and dates and times can be found on the POD calendar of events.
Appointment to a Selection Committee as a CSEA representative is not subject to your manager’s approval. Your participation is also on release time during regular work hours and part of your regular work schedule. You do not have to use any personal leave or lunch time to attend committee activities.
Participation on a committee or attending Committee/EEO training is paid release time, so mark it as “release time” on your timesheet. Once your committee has determined the schedule for the committee activities, notify your manager of the schedule dates and times.
If you have any issues with your manager regarding your appointment or release time, do not argue with your manager. Instead, please contact the chapter’s Chief Job Steward at chiefsteward@csea262.org as soon as possible to help you navigate any challenges.
